1995–96 Miami Heat season
The 1995-96 Miami Heat season was Miami's eighth season in the NBA.〔(1995-96 Miami Heat )〕 Under Pat Riley, the Heat would be restructured. The club would acquire Tim Hardaway, Chris Gatling, Walt Williams, Tyrone Corbin and Tony Smith.〔 The roster that started training camp was now completely different.
In the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals of the 1996 NBA Playoffs, the Heat would be swept in three straight games by Michael Jordan and the 72-10 Chicago Bulls.
Mourning became the first Heat player to appear in an All-Star Game, as he was selected for the 1996 NBA All-Star Game in San Antonio.
